Great event in a wonderful location.
Whilst the peaks are quite steep, you are always rewarded with a long downhill slope in between.
The route marker ribbons in the trees were a nice touch and the GPX download much appreciated.

Amazing trail for beginners
Surrey Hills is breathtaking. The chosen trail is amazing; the organisation is fabulous (great comms, accessible by public transport and parking, lots of brands on site with the option to test shoes/gear). Well done Mick and Elaina! The 10k is perfect for a challenging start to a trail run for beginners (like myself). Highly recommend it!
After two consecutive years pushing myself to finish the 10K, I will be signing up for the 21k next year!

Great trail race in the beautiful Surrey Hills
A challenging course with steep climbs and uneven surfaces. Beautiful views. Well organised. Easy to park. Lovely medal and a buff at the finish. Wonderful that there are different race distances too. This was my first ever trail half marathon. I would recommend it and would do it again.

You would struggle to make a better route in the South East of England - glorious trails, hills, views
The event has a low key, friendly atmosphere which I like. The course markings were incredibly clear, there were lots of water stations and the marshals offered huge encouragement. The 42K route takes in the most beautiful parts of the Surrey Hills - while it is a tough course, I don't think it could be bettered.

Stunning run in the Surrey Hills
Ran 42k. Superb run, very well organised with plenty of aid stations which were well stocked. Some very technical and challenging hills which might not be suitable for inexperienced trail runners. Will run again.

A very well organised event on a hard route
Recommended event despite the hard hilly route. Plenty of aid stations on the way with fruit, gummies and crisps, coke and water. Very friendly and helpful volunteers too. Also a nice chance to try and test some running shoes from various brands in the event village.
