The only thing to review I think is the water quality at the second stop. I filled my camelback but there was definitely something odd about the taste and I found it very hard to drink which did leave me dehydrated which was a shame.
Great event though!

My 2nd run of the Shere 42k and a fantastic event once again

My third 42k (and a 21k, which is also a stunning route). As always Elaina, Mick and all the amazing volunteers make this a brilliant event each year. Keep on rolling out the good weather!!! With the pizza, beer, and cheering in other runners at the end, this race is right up there.

The route markings were easy to follow and map download was a great back up. Thanks to all who contributed!

A fantastic event. My 3rd time running and I look forward to it every year. The organisers and volunteers are amazing and the scenery is stunning. I love it!

Elaina and Mick have managed to grow this tiny event into something utterly wonderful and hugely enjoyable, but without compromising on any of its boutique feel. I would do this race every weekend if it was on.

A really well organised trail event, the marathon was well sign posted and the GPX excellent, the Marshalls and aid stations were super amazing too. Not for the faint hearted but a proper trail run.

Stunning countryside with brutal hills. Fantastic event, thanks for organising it :-)

- Is friendly for beginners although more chllenging that some runs
-Well marshaled and friednly team
- The only thing that would be nicer is to have a slightly larger area to sit/ eat after the run as there wasn't much space near the finnish line due to car park although obviously car parking is limited in shere and I imagine its a trade off from an organising perspective.

Overall really nice event with a bit of challenge, will aim to come back

Shere is a lovely village and location for those supporting runners to spend time in.
