We’re excited to bring you the first of our STAR Backyard Trail Events, starting in the lovely village of Peaslake.

This is the first of three events, with Holmbury St. Mary and Shere following soon (dates to be confirmed).

How It Works:

The event runs for 3 hours from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. You’ll aim to complete as many 5km laps as you can in that time. No chip timing—just a race number to wear and a wristband for every lap you complete.

The Course:

Starting at Peaslake Village Hall, the route heads clockwise through the Walking Bottom Car Park, followed by a gentle 2km ascent up towards Pitch Hill. After that, it’s mostly downhill back to the start to mark off your lap.

Heads Up: This is a head torch event, so be sure to bring one to light your way.

• Time: 6:00pm – 9:00pm (arrive by 5:45pm)
• Location: Peaslake Community Hall, Peaslake, Surrey GU5 9RR
• Entry Fee: £20 (includes refreshments)
• Parking: Free parking at Walking Bottom Car Park and nearby spots. Just remember not to block any rights of way.
