This is a no-frills, 3-hour trail running challenge in the heart of the Surrey Hills. Held in the village of Shere, you’ll run as many 5km laps as you can within the time. Whether you manage one lap or push for more, it's about testing your limits.

How It Works

• No chip timing. You’ll wear a race number and a wristband for every lap you complete.
• Headtorch required – you’ll be on the course after dark (except for the first lap), so make sure yours is fully charged and ready to go.
• Prizes for the first male and female runners.

The Route

The route starts at Shere Manor House and takes you out through the countryside:

• A 1.3km climb via the ford, through thegate upto the top road (Park Road).
• A section through the woods, then down towards the Saxon Church.
• Turn left onto the metal road to the gate (cattle grid) then turn right and follow footpath along the Sherbourne Road.
• Right into Silverwood past the church on oyur right, follow trail onto Chantery lane, turn left up to Upper street left again then right up the track back to the start to register your lap and head out again.

The route will be fully signed and marashals will be on hand for the first lap only.

The course may be altered based on weather conditions, so expect the unexpected.

• Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Be there by 5:45 PM to avoid delays)
• Entry Fee: £20 per person (refreshments included)
